Introduction to the Credit Reporting Information Law

This course aims to give you an understanding of credit reporting manuals and how to protect your credit information. By completing this course, you will:

• be able to explain what credit reporting is and how it applies to you
• gain an understanding of how the CRIL affects and protects your credit information
• gain an understanding of how to obtain your credit report
• gain an understanding of how to request correction of your credit report
• gain an understanding of how to request your credit report be suppressed
• gain an understanding of what you can do if you believe a credit reporter has breached your privacy.
