This course is designed to help policy-makers consider the privacy of individuals when developing new policy or regulatory interventions. The course will also help private sector analysts to ensure that personal information is managed in their businesses with care and respect.

For government, ignoring privacy implications may damage public trust and confidence and undermine policy objectives.
